I have seen previous reviews and I have not had a problem with any staff what so ever. They do their job as expected. Only problem is time to get an appointment but that isn't their fault more down to UK government lack of investment!
I am delighted with the care my wife received during her long illness. Karen and her staff were to say the least outstanding and always available to help and advise. They never seem to rest and have my full admiration. No idea why this practice gets bad reviews. With the requirement for long term care and they were just amazing. Thank you and best wishes to them all. Norrie Donald
The times for registration are very awkward 11:30am to 4pm week days only meaning many people have to book of time for work just to register. The reception and admin staff speak to the patients in a very rude manner, they treat patients like cattle. I booked off time to register however on the day after being kept waiting for an hour I was told that the evidences i had (driver licence and utility bill) were not sufficient despite being told otherwise previously. I had to book even more time off to come back later in the week only to have the same exact evidence now accepted.I was then kept waiting whilst they reviewed my forms however despite reviewing my forms and telling me they were all ok I am now being asked for a bit more information that i dont have to complete the registration. This means i may not get the doctors apointment in two days that i have been wait weeks for. Wasting a total of 2.5 days of annual leave. The staff have been very rude and uncooperative about the whole thing.
I've only used the practice for picking up prescriptions and similar so haven't dealt with any of the medical staff to any notable degree, but the reception staff (at least a portion of them) are the worst I've encountered anywhere. Rude and abrasive would be the only way to put it, with myself and other patients - and unhelpful too. Sad to see a fairly confused elderly patient being scolded for not going to the right desk on my last visit, prompted me to leave this review. When your job is to deal directly with the public, you should have adequate interpersonal skills.
I don't understand why this practice gets bad reviews, I was with this surgery all my life, up until 3 years ago when they took various areas off their lists, I was heartbroken,as I've several health issues, and receptionists and doctors were all excellent, imagine at 48years old having to start all over again with a strange doctor!!!!, It wasn't easy but after 3 years with new surgery I've adjusted, so if your lucky enough to be at links be grateful, cause they're really good, especially Dr Watson, the nurses are great and the reception staff are good too!!, Anyone who's not happy should just move practices, simple
