As i sat suicidal with a knife to my arm, the receptionist told me" Dont be ridiculous", which in my condition was the greatest insult i could have asked for during that moment. They seem in this practice to assume thats professional to say to someone who has been awaiting for a full diagnosis as also struggling with daily suicidal tendencies. I had a fungal nail infection, lost my big toe nail. Having waited for the nail clipping results to come back, it confirmed i have fungal nail issues. However, i would need to wait another six weeks for an appointment to be made available to receive the medication that would stop the infection, which i still have. I realised having been met by fort knox attitudes in relation to adequate care, its just not on. In my most recent phonecall i explained that my psychiatrist has stated i need to be on a particular medication as to treat my current condition. Having phoned the reception again the attitude was, this could take up to a week, so therefore im meant to magically halt an illness for which treatment is needed now. There was no swearing towards her, i merely stated id need to wait another f in week to get what the psychiatrist reccomended, as to save myself from getting into trouble via the law or in general. Other than listen to my exact words, i was abrubtly told DONT YOU SWEAR AT ME, swearing at this person would involve a direct insult towards them which no insult was personally directed. However, as i have already stated, they assume because you have mental health you dont have the capacity for intelligence, which is an idol assumption at best seeing as i am a merit student studying Anthropology and History. I do not like this practice at all, between being told i can cycle then ending off on an Mri machine, then having to wait in total 14 weeks till my health improved i see this practice as not holding the correct manner of professionalism nor care. I received a letter threatening to strike me off the practice, ridiculous, considering when i call, i am always respectful up until i get attitude thrown my way, typically involving me having to wait for what should be readily available. This only goes to prove what i already knew, they do not have the staff capacity to deal with the numbers that are under their care. I am not stating all the receptionists hold an attitude, but considering the reception manager prove hers only days back i guess thats leading by example. I would ask for the phone conversation evidence to be produced, prior to threatening people who are experiencing daily suicidal thought as also anxiety/depression and mental health to leave the practice albeit REMOVE them. Your not there to take abuse correct, so why should i ?! Now i will watch as your review rating drops further, because this practice cannot hire staff with positive attitudes that are willing to understand certain matters involving certain individuals. I have been asked by several doctors on several occasions " What would you like me to do" ?! Why is a qualified doctor asking an ill person for instructions, when the ill person had not taken the degree? To be asked that, only proves the level of interest in the care provided, to me its a case of if i had the Argos catologue of symptoms and cures, id manage being a doctor no problem. This review needs to Go Live, as this practice holds little mental health knowledge, if they had, id not be threatened when im receiving the attitudes, and becoming assertive due to this! So my advice to anyone who holds issues other than a flu virus, find a better practice. You have weeks of waiting, youll get a mis diagnosis then need to wait a feurther six weeks till you get your appointment. If you think you have cancer, DO NOT GO HERE, youll be dead by the time they answer the phone, albeit by the time your diagnosed. I will be taking matters further in relation to this letter, and raising awareness into the attitudes that are not well presented over the phone from set receptionists who clearly mistaken me for a fool! Truth hurts...

This practice deletes accurate reviews that they don't like. Too bad. You are a public service, funded by the taxpayer to whom you are accountable, and the accurate reviews will be published elsewhere online.

Very good staff and doctors are very helpful

The doctors are amazing and really professional and helpful. However, the place has it's downsides. 1. There is no waiting line service for the appointments line, so it's down to dumb luck if you manage to get through in a morning to book an appointment. 2. No online booking available, as someone with long term health issues being able to book in advance online when I know what my work schedule looks like is a million times easier than trying to call and not get through. 3. The place is hot as hell. Like everytime I go it's like sweltering. But as I said, the most important fact is that the doctors I've seen have all been great and really helpful!

Excellent service by both doctors and nurses. Quality of treatments well worth the slightly longer wait for appointments.
