What a cowboy outfit. Sprung on me all the extras at the desk so had nowhere else to go. Paid the 160 excess and was told it declined. Which has never happened before Stupidly I immediately paid again which was accepted. Whilst still at the desk I checked my bank mobile app and showed the staff member that both payments had gone out. He spoke to someone on the phone who said it would be reinbersed in 24 hours. We are now well over 48 hours and NOTHING. Looking at the face of the second staff member, I suspect this is an organised scam by the company hoping that you do not check the payments. I will be speaking to Aberdeen Trading Standards and my solicitor regarding this company and its practices.
Terrible company. I was informed that I would not be able to pick up the car with the CDW only and charged for an insurance that cost 3 times the rent. Needed to get the car because of an important appointment and when tried to contact later to get the money back didnt get any response.
Absolute cowboys. Came off a transatlantic flight and everything was added that I didnt ask for when I made the original booking for two weeks. Stupidly signed and called them two days later when realized mistake. No effort or offer to correct it, staff are clearly on commission due to hard sell. Ended up paying double. Will never use again.Avoid at all costs.
Low prices, good cars and fine so long as you can deal with the Ryanair or Goldcar style of business model. Worth doing your homework. Staff are friendly but don't expect the level of extras you'd get from a more expensive rental from one of the mainstream companies.
