So after deciding to buy my first family car on auction and get it repaired, I got it delivered to these guys, as the prices were very competitive!The guy Harry was very polite and helpfull, I only wanted a new bumper, headlight and splash cover fitted. They resprayed a second hand bumper I bought online and fitted all the parts for me. I now have a new car at a fraction of the price. I will definitely recommend them, turnaround was only 5 days including waiting for parts to be delivered. Happy customer!
I took my car to these guys as I had a smash down the left side. Really courteous guy. The price was quite good and I got it back in a couple days. The job was well done. They even washed the car for me. Hopefully I don't scratch my car again, but if i do these are the boy for the job. Happy customer.
I was looking forward to writing a lovely review and I am so disappointed having to write this instead. Although I was initially happy with the repair I received, to my ignorant eyes it was carried out really well. However, my purchase hire car collectors (FCA) identified the paint work on one side as faulty (DULL) for which I was fined - I had to pay for the repainting of the bumper. Ironhide offered to bring the car back, but OBVIOUSLY that was not possible once the collectors have collected it (to cancel the FCA collection costs 150 - Ironhide knew the car was a 'purchase hire' and that the car was with the collectors already, so honestly I am not sure why they offered it when they knew that was not even possible). After a long discussion and after I providing the evidence, not only that I wasn't offered the money back for the painting, I was sort-of told that I should be grateful for the bumper light bulb (which only went out while they were fixing the bumper) and a little bit glue for my coolant tank that they didn't charge me for (thank you, I do appreciate that). It's of course debatable whether or not they noticed their mistake and if they did, whether or not they thought I wouldn't notice it - I am really not sure and I don't know what to think, because as the comments suggest, they seem like nice enough people, they even drove me to the airport after I dropped off the car. However, it does not change the fact that the service I paid for was not carried out properly, they botched it and somehow I ended up fined for their mistake. I am a student, so needless to say, this got me in tears, having to pay a week's wages for this, but there is nothing I can do, other than leave a crappy review. Beware, there's no warranty/guarantee with them and purchase hire car collectors will see all their mistakes even if you don't. I wish I thought about inspecting the car myself before but this was my first car and I was too happy with the back of the car, I didn't even look at the side of the bumper.
