I had been put through to Ashgrove via my insurance company for repairs to the rear quarter panel and drivers door after someone reversed into the car. The estimates process was very efficient and all damage no matter how small and insignificant was picked up and duly noted for inclusion. The extent of the damage meant a new panel, side skirt, tyres, painting and refinishing of the drivers door and alloy refurb. All in, an extensive repair. When the time came, the car was collected from my house and taken to the garage. Due to the extent of the damage, it took around 2 weeks for the repair. I required the car back for a specific day and the garage were happy to ensure all works were carried out and the car was ready for me. I was able to leave the hire car with them too which was a bonus. The reception staff were great to deal with in organising the pickup. When I picked the car up, I was shown round the work by Donald. I noticed a small scratch on the rear bumper that hadnt been there long, this was mentioned to Donald, who spoke with Andrew and they offered to take the car in again when it suited me and have the area resprayed without any problem at all, apologising for the error. I left happy, and unable to fault the repairs as the car was in factory condition once again. I returned to have the bumper scratch repaired, with this being done overnight and ready by lunch the next day. I was given a courtesy car to see me through. After a few weeks I noticed the paint had chipped slightly due to it being soft and when I enquired if this was correct, Andrew offered to have the chip touched up and returned to perfect condition, again without any problem. Ive since unfortunately had an incident with a pole, and got in touch for an estimate for repair, which Andrew was able to do at a fair and reasonable price, in line with other garages in the area. I will be returning to Ashgrove for any bodywork repairs, due to the factory like finish and great customer service and aftercare. Thanks guys!
Very poor service, an estimate of 16hours work is expected to take up to 7-days. Despite advising the completion date was unacceptable this was not fed to the workshop. My family and I with our dogs were going on holiday but have had to cancel as Ashgrove refused to get my car finished on time despite the car was finished awaiting painting yesterday.Will make official complaint via my insurance company, not a single consideration to the customer, despite attempts to get the body shop manager to assist. just like David Pace 5-months ago, very unhappy with all the excuses, NOT A SINGLE consideration to the customer, very poor staff.
Excellent, speedy, efficient and friendly service. I was told over the phone that I would not get a courtesy car until the damage to my car has been assessed, but was was offered one on arrival. Clear explanation of the features of the courtesy car. Nice people to deal with.
