Interesting part of Aberdeen's history. It is a 35 minutes museum. Very interesting.
Worth a visit. Its free and theres lots of medieval history here to learn. The stairs are very steep and tight hence its not safe for everyone.
Lovely cute museum and good for like half an hour of you're just looking but about a hour if you're stopping to read everything. They provide you with an information leaflet and would answer any of your questions. A good place to visit while in Aberdeen. Walking distance from the city center and also the maritime museum.
A very interesting place, no doubt about it's importance in the history of Aberdeen. The building itself is well worth a visit, the research is good, the translation into a visitor friendly experience is not too bad. Only three stars because the experience is let down by the indifference of the staff. We've spent almost an hour in the building (it's quite small) trying to engage with the staff as there are a few unanswered questions in the displays, but were not able to start any kind of conversation. A bit of a shame.
I been there in July, haha I know I been in Aberdeen for years and first ever time I get there in this year. It's amazing feeling of history, just feeling that scary things what was there. You just feel that old history building. I will back again xx
