Very informative and full of artefacts relating to the maritime history of Aberdeen, the section on North Sea oil is excellent and there was a very exceptional exhibition of photographic portraits when I visited. The museum is small and compact a good size for a short visit or indeed a much longer one if you are interested!
This was a fantastic place to visit with our family and it was free to enter! Our sons loved the quiz that they could complete whilst looking at the exhibitions and there were lots of interactive items to keep them busy whilst learning at the same time. The caf was great too! We would definitely recommend.
Well worth a visit. This was our second time and we still discovered new things. The kids enjoyed it as well. The mini ROV that the kids can operate was a huge hit!
Always a great place to visit. Well laid out, interesting, & the regular special events an asset. Recently attended Malice in Medievil Aberdeen talk & really enjoyed it. Would recommend the Museum to others.
A nicely laid out free museum. Plenty to see and enjoy. Model boats and bits of boats. Lots of boat stuff really. Views out to the harbour mean you can see real boats. In a good location.
