Great staff and range of VOLT ebikes :)

Took bike in to just have a few components changed to save me the hastle (lol).10 days later my bike no longer shifts (even after they replaced the shifter which was fine before they got their hands on it), which they tried to blame on the the manufacturer (even though the shifter had worked perfectly for the 3 years up untill this point). Additionally slapped on brake blocks which i didnt ask for and re-cabled it, again which i did not ask for. Chain is incorrectly tensioned and front mech was loose as well, and the list goes on. Would definatley avoid (if you use any sram components anyway)

Odd to see the negative reviews. I have been involved in accrediting Steven and the staff as mechanics and so have seen their customer handling over a long period (several full days, over several years) and can honestly say I've not seen them be rude or unhelpful at any stage. They are also very well-qualified to take on a range of service / maintenance jobs. They do check things carefully and will refer to manufacturer's info, rather than just relying on memory, but if you see that as a negative, like one reviewer here, then in this day and age, you need your head examined. No-one can hold all the compatibility information for every manufacturer in their heads ...

I wonder why I have gone to the bigger chains! This place is magic and Aberdeen's best kept bike secret. Try it - wonderful service with a smile

Went to Holburn cycles to get a professional pedal fit for my new De Rosa super king, which was also built to a highly professional level on their premises. I was taken through the process quickly and had every part explained to me as we went along. This process has improved my efficiency on the bike considerably.I can't recommend the shop and especially the staff high enough. I will use Holburn cycles over any other shop even for the smallest job.All my bikes have benefited from the service I've received here.
