Based on the work they did at my flat I certainly can't recommend them and they won't be working here again on any job I am involved in.The standard of work they left simply wasnt to a reasonable standard, when contacted to return (more than once by email/phone) they were filled with standard excuses and were pretty arrogant, lumsdens tried to pass blame off more than once & they were very unhelpful.This was badly managed by my neighbour from the start as when they did a poor job my neighbour simply washed their hands of it and passed it off which isn't directly a reflection on Lumsdens just how badly this was managed as a project as a whole, I certainly wont be using lumsdens again and refuse to consider them again for any project (if I see their name on any future quote it will simply be rejected), In the end they did return and attempt to tidy the job up after it was left to me to report but its still not a great standard & they only addressed half of the issue I reported to them which leaves me with a job to finish.It's up to you if you want to try your luck with them (they may be great at cutting keys or selling keyrings) but my experience with them was poor, they certainly werent stress free & I simply couldn't be bothered to deal with them again.
Unfortunately the opening hours appear to be wrong. Just went to their premises to have a key cut and its closed, lights off with no signs of life. No opening hours on door either so not sure what right ones are?

I was actually trying not to even give one star. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I required an engineer to check my automatic garage door. Sent 3 emails to request this. Got an answer eventually asking me to send my address details, which I duly did. Waited & waited for a reply.......nothing. Two phone calls to them to query if someone was actually coming to check door. Yes, they would be in touch. I finally visited their premises to get this sorted out. A man at the desk hadnt a clue, but unfortunately the engineer was out to lunch, but he would let him know & then call me. THREE WEEKS LATER.......AND STILL WAITING! !!!!!!!!!!!!! Pathetic!!!!!!!! Luckily I got a brilliant engineer to fix things with no hassle & keeping me informed all the time. Lumsden actually did me a favour. I now have an engineer I can rely on.
