Called 3 times to arrange a booking and was told each time someone would call me back... last time I spoke to them was over a week ago... guess they dont want anyone to rent any of their properties. Poor service
I strongly advise against this company I would rate them 0 if it were possible. The employees are ignorant and complacent who rely on exploiting gullible and timid students or other lessees. I was a returning student without a secured property for the upcoming year and had the misfortune of securing a contract for a tenement with this company with a couple of other students while I was still away. I was put in a situation where I had to sign the contract for the property without the actual supervision of the said witness or legal supervisor "Nicola Webster" which lead to uncertainties and the misappropriation of documents in relation to the deposit later on. This ended up being an unnecessarily prolonged and very inefficiently handled major issue that caused a lot of distress towards the end. This sums up their work ethic - slow, unresponsive, exploitative, with a pinch of arrogance. Good news is that you can possibly easily claim any disputed amount which they attempt to deduct. They didn't even attempt to put up a case for the dispute system. 25% worth of the final bill was written off. They did take their sweet time and tried to wring as much time for the cleaning bill deduction to be as late from the date of vacating the property as possible. They hired a supposedly "impartial" third party to inspect the property, "John Milne", who reported "missing" kitchen items that were literally placed and found on the kitchen counter for anyone to see. This was such an insult and goes to show their short-termed nature. Reclaiming the deposit took nearly 3 months. Do not get involved with this company, there are numerous of other estate agencies in Aberdeen who offer better deals with far more transparent service that will gladly have you as a client. It was just unfortunate that it was unbeknownst to me at the time.
I do not recommend this flat rental agency. After leaving the flat they have kept part of the deposit for a "cleaning" they "did" and it was not specified in the contract.
