A very special, cosy place to have a nice breakfast/lunch while in Aberdeen. It's close to the city centre and its busy Union Street, but I would say that it is not on the beaten path. The food is original and tasty, coffee is amazing and the desserts are delightful.The pricing is perfectly reasonable and the service is prompt, polite and positive.Would highly recommend if you want to change it up a bit and not go to big chain restaurant.
Been going to Bonobo since they were a wee pop up shop on a Saturday. Have absolutely loved going to their new premises, their garden is up there as one of my favourite places to visit in Aberdeen. I absolutely love their food too, even as a non-vegan (my gf is), the variety and quality is always exceptional (tofu benny, bhaji sandwich, bacon sandwich, porridge with cocoa nibs, mac and cheese all highly recommended). Keep it up guys!
Love the vegan food and friendly staff. Breakfast, sandwiches, lunches, cakes and hot drinks are available. There is also a lovely roof top garden to sit in. My only negative would be that because it's popular and I'm not sure that the staff monitor how many people they have sitting in, the indoor seats fill up quickly and you may find yourself sitting outside on a cold day, or have to take away.
It's a nice cafe which is completely vegan. There's an upstairs seating area as well as an outdoor seating area which is nice on sunny days. However there's not a lot seats so can sometimes struggle for a table, but you can take away so there's that option too. Food is good and reasonably priced. I'd suggest going early in the day as they can sell out of options quite quickly, so might not get what you want.
One of my favourite places to go our for food. I love veggie food, although am not vegetarian. This food is really tasty. The famous macaroni and cheese is gorgeous. Great selection of cakes and milks for coffees/teas. This place is usually very busy but the staff are very helpful and fast so you usually get served within 15mins even though the place is full. The garden is great in the summer. A very cute place indeed for a weekend lunch. Highly recommend!
